First of all, I want to apologize for not having written in a while. I haven’t stopped writing my novel, but I’ve just taken a break from this blog for a bit. With that said, I want to talk about what’s happened since my last post.
All in all, I managed about 12,000 words in November. This was mainly due to confidence issues in the general plot of my story and procrastination. That’s still 12,000 more words than I had at the beginning of November, so I’m happy with it.
But I had a big moment of inspiration on November 23rd while I was working on a character sheet. At the same time, I was really trying to think my way through the plot and see what more I could do with it. And just like that, I had the most epic brainstorming time ever! I wrote the below tweet about it the day after, but I can safely say I have a much better idea on the direction of the story.
#WritingCommnunity Confession: I haven’t been doing too well at #NaNoWriMo lately. It started out great, but I started having a crisis of confidence with the plot of my novel. I was worried about plot holes, totally implausible or just boring events, etc. 1/

I still plan on finishing the novel and publishing it after making the necessary edits. And yes, I do plan on trying NaNoWriMo again next year! Either I’ll have much better luck, or decide the fast-pace writing of the month isn’t for me. Either way, I’ll continue writing, including on here.
In the meantime, I wish you very happy holidays!
